Electroactive Polymers Tutorial: Shower Hose Stretching

The tools used in this tutorial are developed for the development of EAPs outside of the materials science lab. They support flexible and quick prototyping, aiming to suit the needs of artists, designers and architects. The tools are an extension and modification of the tools developed by EMPA – The Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Science and Technology, Duebendorf.

Thanks to Christa Jordi from EMPA for sharing her research and to our colleague Manuel Kretzer for introducing us to EMPA.
