The designer in residence Robert Wettstein, collaborated with Luke Franzke to explore temporality through active materials. A digital clock was produced from electroluminescent materials hand painted on sketching paper. The ephemerality of the materials interplay with the display of time and the rhythmic breathing of the luminescent characters.
